A co-founder of High Five, Bret Wolcott has been a driving force in the company since its inception in Los Angeles in 1983. As a High Five Producer, Bret is active in the development of projects and televised event specials for High Five, with an emphasis on music and other awards shows and live event specials.

Bret has played an integral part in the growth of High Five, and has assumed a wide range of responsibilities in various positions as the company has evolved. Beginning with production management, Bret has co-produced or produced a great many of the hundreds of projects ranging from music videos to commercials, network and cable specials, live events, and series that High Five has created over the years. Some highlights include "This is Garth Brooks" for NBC, "The Judds Farewell Concert" for Pay Per View, as well as specials for Celine Dion, Michael Bolton, and Wynonna. These shows and many others have brought Bret and High Five together with a variety of broadcasters including NBC, CBS, TNN, CMT, VH1, HBO, and PBS.

In 1996, Bret assumed the responsibilities of General Manager of Music City Digital, High Five's then newly formed post production division. At the end of the year 2000 Music City Digital had become a full fledged, state of the art post-production facility under Bret's guidance, and Bret returned in early 2001 to High Five to resume his television production career.

Bret is a native of Los Angeles and a 1983 graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Cinema.
