HIGH FIVE ENTERTAINMENT CAPTURES GROUNDBREAKING GUITARIST LIVE IN BELFAST FOR NEW PBS SPECIAL

Nashville, TN., (June 1, 2024) - High Five Entertainment is currently in post-production on a television performance special featuring jazz-rock guitar giant and Verve Records artist George Benson live in concert. The program will make its U.S. broadcast debut on PBS in December 2000, and is produced in association with Eagle Vision.

Shot at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, Ireland in May of 2000, Benson's show was broadcast live on BBC Radio throughout Europe. Featuring such classic songs as "On Broadway", "This Masquerade", and "Give Me The Night", Benson was joined by the BBC Big Band, the Ulster Orchestra String Section and special guest keyboardist Joe Sample, whose groundbreaking contributions to fusion includes a stint with the Crusaders. These two innovative talents are captured in peak form, making for a television special not to be missed.

The program will be released on video and DVD through Pioneer America in 2001.
