NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 25, 2002) - "Bushnell's Secrets of the Hunt" is moving to 9 AM (Central Time) on Saturdays, and 9:30 AM (Central Time) on Sundays, when the 2002 season's 13 new episodes begin airing July 6 on The National Network (TNN).
"Bushnell's Secrets of the Hunt," one of TNN's most popular outdoor programs, is hosted by Dave Watson, a well-known outdoorsman and former band member of the Oak Ridge Boys.
Travel with Dave Watson and the "Bushnell's Secrets of the Hunt" crew as they take you across the plains and prairies in search of bear, elk, whitetail and mule deer. Joining Dave in his quests are country legend, Aaron Tippin, US Olympic Downhill Skier, Chad Fleischer and veteran bowhunter Bob Fromme. Tune in for the best tips and tactics as Watson reveals the true "secrets" of the hunt.
The new season will continue to feature the program's unique and fast-paced magazine format that has made it one of the most exciting outdoors adventure programs on television. In addition, Watson and featured guests will continue to provide viewers with easy-to-understand and useful insights for their next hunt. Each episode also features "Moment of Truth," a segment dedicated to correcting misconceptions about hunting, and "Benelli's Shooting Tip of the Week" featuring Tom Knapp, The Shooting Star.
An accomplished bowhunter and a member of the Congressional Archery Task Force, Watson has hunted on four continents. He is a staff shooter for Mathews Solocam and a member of the pro staffs of Bushnell and Sims Vibration Laboratory. His expertise has led to numerous television appearances and has made him a popular speaker at bowhunting and outdoors seminars. As national spokesperson for the Archery Shooter's Association (ASA), Watson attends each of the ASA's eight national tournaments promoting family involvement in the outdoors.
