A TRIBUTE TO ZZTOP
Music Specials to Air in the Third and Fourth Quarters
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April, 2002) - From a guitar rockin' ZZTop tribute to a patriotic country music spectacular featuring the U.S. Army Field Band, High Five Entertainment produced three music specials for the National Network (TNN). The specials are part of a new three-show deal awarded to High Five and taped in April and May at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville.
High Five produced six previous music specials in the last two years for TNN, including two shows in the Classic Rock series and two country music specials, both in the fall of 2001.
The first show, Celebrate The Stars & Stripes, features SheDaisy, Aaron Tippin, Pam Tillis and the U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus. The program taped April 14, is scheduled to air July 14. Special guests in the audience are military personnel from Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Taped on May 2, Sharp Dressed Men: A tribute to ZZTop, will introduce music from the upcoming RCA tribute album. Country music artists Brad Paisley, Andy Griggs, Tracy Byrd, Montgomery Gentry and Trace Adkins performed on the show with guest appearances by Dwight Yoakam, Brooks & Dunn, Kenney Chesney, Phil Vassar and Lonestar.
The third special, TNN Live At The Wildhorse, hosted by Bobbi Eakes and Andy Griggs highlighted some of the brightest rising stars in country music, including, Darryl Worley, Tammy Cochran, Kellie Coffey, Kevin Denney, Tommy Shane Seiner, Brad Martin and Shannon Lawson.
